Led the implementation of a NYL grant-funded program that recognized Stoneham Public Schools as ”Grief Sensitive”
Hello! I’m Megan Samborski
My name is Megan Samborski and I am running for Stoneham School Committee. I humbly ask for your vote on April 4th. I have been a Stoneham resident for 10 years and reside in the Colonial Park area with my husband and two daughters. Both of my children are enrolled in the Stoneham Public Schools. I am currently employed as the Director of Community Relations at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Stoneham & Wakefield.
Prior to my role at the Boys & Girls Clubs, I was the Youth Program Coordinator for our Stoneham Coalition’s Drug Free Communities Grant, where I worked in Stoneham Town Hall, Stoneham High School, and Central Middle School, bringing important substance use prevention and mental health programs into the schools and resources to parents in our community.
These experiences, along with my participation on various town boards on this page, have given me a unique insight into the workings of our town government, schools, and most importantly, our children- an important perspective that I can lend to the Stoneham School Committee.
I look forward to meeting Stoneham residents directly and hear your concerns and feedback, and ask that you consider me for your vote on April 4th! Thank you for your consideration,Megan Samborski
